Detached Audio is an experimental drum & bass label dedicated to exploring the full spectrum of the genre.

Founded by Manu at the tail end of 2014, the label originally served as a creative outlet for Manu and his close collaborators. In the summer of 2017, Manu connected with K2T, and with his input and direction, Detached Audio began to grow — expanding its reach and musical range while staying true to its experimental roots.

Over the years, Detached evolved into a respected platform for cutting-edge drum & bass, releasing work from a diverse lineup of artists including Option, Shodan, Mindloader, Hex, Madusea, Sirus, Linear, and many others.

After taking a hiatus in 2023, Detached Audio returns in 2025. With a renewed focus and energy, the label is poised to continue pushing boundaries, championing forward-thinking artists, and delivering music that challenges conventions while staying rooted in the essence of drum & bass.
